BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (September 25, 2023) – Despite launching their weekend at the “World’s Greatest Dirt Track” with a tough outing against the Greatest Show On Dirt, ultimately missing main event action, Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing raced on and rebounded in a big way, eventually concluding their 4-Crown Nationals campaign with a hard charging performance against the All Star Circuit of Champions on Saturday, September 23.
Wilson, a former two-time champion with the Series, rallied 11 positions in the $10,000-to-win All Star main event, commencing his forward progress from 20th on the A-Main grid, ending action ninth in the running order. The ace of the Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics Warehousing and Transportation, SandRidge Customs, Banshee Graphics, CJMM, No. W20 sprint car will add his Eldora Speedway rally to a long list of noteworthy statistics already acquired in 2023, two of which being victories.
Despite a heap of momentum on his side, Wilson is unsure of upcoming plans. An October layout will be determined in the next few days.
“Eldora Speedway is a special place. We’ve been blessed with a lot of great results there, Saturday included, and we hope to add more in the future,” Wilson expressed. “A big thanks to all of our partners, as well as my family, for making this year so great. We faced some challenges, but we battled through them. That’s what makes this team so special.”
