SANDUSKY, Ohio (March 24, 2024) – Mother Nature has not been kind to Ohio race fans, but the extra time in the shop was not wasted, as Sandusky, Ohio’s Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing (CAR) are pleased unveil not only an updated look, but a highly-competitive campaign, all of which activating at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Friday, March 29.
Andrews, back in charge of his own Ohio Truck Sales, OTS Truck Centers, Fleet Capital, Cintas, Kenworth of Cleveland, Toledo Spring, NAPA Fremont Auto Parts, Burdue Insurance, TruckParts4U.com, No. 15c sprinter, will spend much of his 2024 agenda in northwest Ohio, competing at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on a regular basis. In addition, Andrews, a former two-time Attica champion, will enter Ohio Sprint Speedweek in its entirety, also making the journey to the historic Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, for four days of action on July 17 through July 20.
Sanctioned by the High Limit Sprint Car Series and World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, the four day schedule at the World’s Greatest Dirt Track will feature the $12,000-to-win x2 Double Down Duels (July 17 | High Limit), $100,000-to-win Joker’s Jackpot (July 18 | High Limit), $25,000-to-win The Knight Before (July 19 | World of Outlaws), and the $175,000-to-win Kings Royal (July 20 | World of Outlaws).
“It’s going to be an exciting season,” Chris Andrews said. “We faced a number of challenges last year in getting this new team up and running, but we’re fortunate to be in a better position this year. We’re also fortunate to be in a location where there’s a lot of great racing right down the road. Our main emphasis is going to be on Attica and Fremont, but the plan is to follow all of Speedweek and head to Eldora for Kings Royal week.”
Attica Raceway Park may help commence CAR’s 2024 campaign, but Fremont Speedway will help end it, concluding northwest Ohio’s entire slate with the annual Jim Ford Classic and Fremont Speedway Championship Night in consecutive weekends.
“Can’t thank my team for all of their hard work this off season,” Andrews continued. “They do a tremendous job and I wouldn’t be in this position without them. We want to get that first win as a new team sooner than later…it’s coming.”
