KNOXVILLE, Iowa (May 29, 2024) – Cory Eliason and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) made the most of their recent visit to Pennsylvania Posse Country, not only highlighting action with an impressive rally in Port Royal Speedway’s Bob Weikert Memorial on Sunday, May 26, but accomplishing a top-five just two nights prior at Williams Grove Speedway – Eliason’s fifth of the season for car owner Brian Ridge.
Eliason, ace of the Commercial Edge, NDT New Direction Transport LLC, Ridge Development, North Ridge Development, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, B And L Holdings, No. 8 sprint car, finished fourth in his Williams Grove Speedway top-five, an event honoring long time Central Pennsylvania car owner, John Trone. Although far from a frequent flier, Eliason is certainly no stranger to the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, halfmile, earning a pair of top-tens, one of which a podium, already this season.
As noted, Eliason and RSR put together an impressive rally in Port Royal Speedway’s Weikert Memorial, finishing 12th in the $75,000-to-win blockbuster after commencing action from row 12.
“We’re always striving to do better, but making progress against a field like that is always something to be proud of,” Eliason stated. “The goal is to put ourselves up front in Indiana and Michigan. There’s no reason why we can’t do that.”
