GETTYSBURG, Pa. (July 29, 2024) – Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing put together a sound performance in their two-day Williams Grove Speedway Summer Nationals appearance, capping the Central Pennsylvania staple with back-to-back top-ten outcomes, finishing tenth in each as the result of forward progress.
Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Derek Snyder & Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, No. 48 sprint car, advanced a total of nine positions in his World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series effort, driving forward from 12th on Friday before rallying seven spots on Saturday. Dietrich’s Saturday night charge was good enough to earn the evening’s Hard Charger Award – awarded to the driver who advances the most feature positions.
“We wanted more, but we’re already looking forward. Excited to get to Knoxville,” Dietrich, a ten-time winner in 2024, mentioned. “The goal is to go out there and represent our partners and fans at the highest level. We’re pretty lucky to be associated with so many great people, and the fan support is second to none. We’re gonna let it all hang out at Knoxville and see what happens.”
As noted, Dietrich is a ten-time winner thus far in 2024, ready to roll into the 360 Knoxville Nationals with 36 top-tens to his credit, 26 of which accumulated within the top-five.
