KNOXVILLE, Iowa (July 29, 2024) – It was a busy weekend in the Keystone State for Cory Eliason and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), joining not only High Limit Racing, but also the World of Outlaws in an action-packed Pennsylvania schedule including starts on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. When the weekend chaos settled, Eliason and RSR found themselves with a pair of top-five appearances, scored in back-to-back fashion on July 23 and July 24.
Eliason, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Commercial Edge, NDT New Direction Transport LLC, Ridge Development, North Ridge Development, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, B And L Holdings, No. 8 sprint car, finished fifth in each of the aforementioned top-fives, the first in a High Limit Racing start at Lernerville Speedway on Tuesday, July 23, and the second in a World of Outlaws appearance at BAPS Motor Speedway on Wednesday, July 24. Impressive enough, Eliason’s top-fives were the product of forward progress, advancing from tenth in Lernerville’s Silver Cup and from ninth at BAPS’s Bricker’s Bash.
In addition, Eliason and RSR recorded 17th and 11th-place finishes in Williams Grove Speedway’s Summer Nationals on Friday and Saturday, July 26-27.
“Just a great weekend overall for this Ridge & Sons Racing team. It was a great momentum kick leading into the Nationals stretch at Knoxville Raceway,” Eliason explained. “It was a busy schedule, but we need to be conditioned to it. We have a lot of racing on the agenda for the next two weeks and I’m sure we’ll be ready for it.”
