FREMONT, Ohio (August 5, 2024) – The weekend prior may have resulted in some tough finishes for Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing, but the Sandusky ace rebounded big on Saturday, August 3, concluding Fremont Speedway’s Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) program with a top-ten outcome – his fifth of the 2024 season.
Andrews, ace of his own Ohio Truck Sales, OTS Truck Centers, Fleet Capital, Cintas, Kenworth of Cleveland, Toledo Spring, NAPA Fremont Auto Parts, Burdue Insurance, TruckParts4U.com, No. 15C sprinter, finished eighth in his top-ten appearance, advancing two positions after starting from the outside of row five. In fact, Andrews, the former two-time Attica Raceway Park track champion, was as high as fourth before settling for eighth at the final checkers, nearly clinching his first top-five of the year.
“Much better on Saturday, that’s for sure,” Andrews was quick to state. “We were better than eighth, just slipped back some before the end. Hats off to the team and all of their efforts. It’s hard to believe we’re already into August, but we’re not done yet. We’re hoping to keep this momentum going.”

Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with an off weekend, followed by a return visit to Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Friday, August 16.
