VINCENTOWN, N.J. (August 26, 2024) – It was a random weekend in the Keystone State for Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports, well, in some respect, visiting Williams Grove Speedway for the Jack Gunn Memorial on Friday, August 23, all before making a last minute visit to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, August 24. Two starts resulted in a top-ten for the Vincentown, New Jersey, native, doing so in The Grove’s $8,000-to-win Jack Gunn on Friday – he finished eighth.
Although Whittall, driver of his own JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprinter, was short of top-ten at Lernerville Speedway, his first-ever visit to the Western Pennsylvania staple concluded in a respectable manner; 11th at the final checkers after commencing action with a heat race victory and his group’s fastest qualifying time.
“I wish it was a little bit closer to home, but I’m glad we made the trip. A fun place to race, for sure,” Whittall explained. “Overall, another sound weekend for our team. It’s been a great last few months. We have a pretty busy plan for Labor Day Weekend, and as long as things hold up and nothing unexpected happens, we’ll be racing all four days.”
ON DECK:
Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2024 campaign with an action-packed Labor Day Weekend agenda, set to visit Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, Selinsgrove Speedway, and Port Royal Speedway in consecutive fashion on Friday through Monday, August 30 through September 2.
