KNOXVILLE, Iowa (August 26, 2024) – Cory Eliason and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) continued their High Limit Racing West Coast Swing in a big way during the recent weekend, not only representing the High Limit “High Rollers” respectably in his home state of California, but ultimately capping Silver Dollar Speedway’s Gold Cup Race of Champions with a top-five score, doing so in the event’s $100,070-to-win finale on Saturday, August 24.
Eliason, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Commercial Edge, NDT New Direction Transport LLC, Ridge Development, North Ridge Development, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, B And L Holdings, No. 8 sprint car, finished fifth in his top-five appearance, commencing main event competition from the outside of row four. The Visalisa, California, native scored a top-five during preliminary competition, as well, driving ahead two positions from seventh on Friday, August 23. The top-fives pad an already impressive California stat card for the RSR stable, finishing sixth and fifth in starts at Kings Speedway and Placerville Speedway, respectively.
“Another incredible weekend for this RSR team. Can’t thank Brian and Lisa Ridge enough for this opportunity. We had some rocky weekends, but we kept our heads up and kept moving forward. The positive attitude is certainly paying off,” Eliason expressed. “We still have a lot of racing left on the West Coast, and a lot of money to chase. We’ll work to keep this going.”
