FOREST, Ohio (September 16, 2024) – It was a consistent weekend in the Hoosier State for Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports, concluding their visits to Circle City Raceway and Tri-State Speedway with a pair of top-15 appearances, all of which highlighted with a 13th-place score in Tri-State’s Haubstadt Hustler on Saturday, September 14.
Westfall, a two-time non-wing winner thus far in 2024, started 15th on Tri-State’s grid, and incidentally, also climbed two positions one night prior at Circle City where the Pleasant Hill, Ohio, native jumped from 17th to 15th.
Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will continue their 2024 USAC National Sprint Cars campaign with a visit to the World’s Greatest Dirt Track, Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Saturday, September 21. Certainly no stranger to the historic half-mile, Westfall finished fifth in a #LetsRaceTwo start in early May.
“Just a solid weekend for our team in Indiana,” Westfall, ace of Ray Marshall’s Buckeye Machine Fabricators Inc, Hempy Water, DPI Ink, Wix Filters, Rod End Supply, Allstar Performance, No. 33M sprint car, said. “Excited to get back to Eldora Speedway Saturday. There is a lot of history there, and I have a lot of laps around that place. We’ll try to outdo our performance from May.”
