BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (September 16, 2024) – Back-to-back visits to Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, resulted in back-to-back top-five appearances for Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing, securing a podium outcome in his most recent visit on Saturday, September 14. Wilson, a former multi-time All Star champion, finished third in his podium appearance, bumping his season’s top-ten tally to 19, 16 of which within the top-five – an IRA Outlaw Sprint Series victory included.
Wilson, ace of his own Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics Warehousing & Transportation, DNC Hydraulics, No. W20 sprint car, was happy about the Atomic podium – a great momentum shift after his Friday visit to Fremont Speedway’s Jim Ford Classic ended short of an A-Main appearance.
“We enjoy racing at Atomic and our results certainly reflect that,” Wilson, who finished third in his Atomic heat race, as well, acknowledged. “Not too sure of our plans again. My oldest daughter has homecoming this weekend so we’re going to race around that as best as we can. We’ll see where we end up.”
