KNOXVILLE, Iowa (September 16, 2024) – It was a week for the stat book for Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), not only commencing their four-race stretch with a victory at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa, on Tuesday, September 10, but ultimately racing on to secure three additional top-tens, all of which accumulated in POWRi action at the famed Lucas Oil Speedway. Reutzel, officially stretching his victory tally into the teens, recorded his Clay County score during ASCS competition, leading every circuit for his first National Series triumph since August 2023 at Knoxville Raceway. 

Reutzel’s official victory count, all aboard the Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, No. 87 sprint car, now stands at 13, simultaneously bumping his top-ten marks to 37, 31 of which within the top-five.

“All in all a great night,” said Reutzel in Clay County Fair Speedway victory lane. “After not even being able to Hot Lap, that was stressful. But luckily, everything was really close and I didn’t really have to make too many changes tonight.”

As noted, Reutzel and RSR raced on to accumulate three additional top-ten scores at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, on Thursday through Saturday, September 12-14, doing do during POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint Series action in the annual Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial. The Clute, Texas, native finished second, eighth, and third in his three-day campaign; an impressive effort considering Reutzel’s eventual top-ten on Friday was the result of a charge from 22nd.

Tentatively, Ridge & Sons Racing and Aaron Reutzel [No. 87] will continue their 2024 campaign with a High Limit Racing doubleheader at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, September 20-21.
