KNOXVILLE, Iowa (October 7, 2024) – Everything is bigger in Texas, as the old motto suggests, and for Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), their results couldn’t get much bigger, eventually sweeping the POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint League Fall Double Header at Texas Motor Speedway near Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday and Saturday, October 4-5. Reutzel, a Clute, Texas, native himself, secured $12,000 in his weekend domination, earning $5,000 in Friday’s preliminary before securing $7,000 the following evening.
“We came down to win and we executed, the track was good and tricky,” said an elated Aaron Reutzel in Texas victory lane. “This car was perfect with a great team effort all weekend.”
Impressive enough, “A-Aron,” ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, American Table, Commercial Edge, No. 87 sprint car, led every lap of each of the POWRi Fall Double Header 25-lappers, commencing action from the pole position on Friday and outside-pole on Saturday.
Aaron Reutzel, who also set “Quick Time” in each of his Texas outings, is now a six-time POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint League winner over the course of his illustrious open wheel career.

Tentatively, Ridge & Sons Racing and Aaron Reutzel [No. 87] will continue their 2024 campaign with High Limit Racing action at I-70 Speedway, Lucas Oil Speedway, and Texas Motor Speedway on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, October 8,9, 11 & 12, respectively. High Limit Racing’s 2024 season will conclude with the Texas doubleheader.
