Doney-Lawson Racing joins High Limit at Lakeside; POWRi triple highlights coming agenda

ODESSA, Mo. (May 12, 2025) – Xavier Doney’s High Limit Racing appearance at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, may have ended short of the evening’s A-Main, but valuable notes continue to build, as Doney-Lawson Racing and the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars further preparations for a major POWRi slate over Memorial Day weekend beginning Friday, May 23, at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri. Natalie Doney, Xavier’s younger sister and teammate at Doney-Lawson Racing, will also be in action over Memorial Day weekend.
Xavier Doney, ace of the Design Source Flooring, Schnee-Lawson Chassis, Motor Haven, MVP Logistics, T&T Equine, Prime Composite, Steve & Mandy Griffin Family, JDLawsonMedia, Stanton Racing Engines, No. 74 sprint car, concluded his High Limit Racing start on Friday, May 9, in the evening’s consolation B-Main, finishing behind a stout contingent that included B-Main winner Tanner Thorson. Only four made the cut with Doney ending the 12-lapper in ninth.
Doney-Lawson Racing will roll into their Memorial Day weekend tripleheader with one top-five to their credit, that of which a fifth-place outcome by Xavier at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.
ON DECK:
Full-time POWRi competitors, Xavier Doney, Natalie Doney, and Doney-Lawson Racing will continue their 2025 POWRi 410 Outlaw campaign with three tracks in three days on May 23-25. The Show-Me State triple will include US 36 Raceway and a Lake Ozark Speedway doubleheader, respectively.
