Brown continues consistent ways at Knoxville Raceway; Back in action June 7

GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (June 3, 2025) – Brian Brown’s return to the Sprint Car Capital of the World on Saturday, May 31, resulted in an outcome much like the others: successful. Not only did the former multi-time track champion and recent two-time winner cap his evening with another top-ten finish, but the Higginsville, Missouri, native activated competition with a sound preliminary effort, all of which igniting with the third-quickest qualifying time within his respective group.

Brown, ace of his own Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, Ditzfeld Transfer, Ditzfeld Container Service, No. 21 sprint car, raced on to finish third during heat race action, eventually leading to a fourth-row starting position for the 20-lap A-Main.

Although at one time higher in the running order, it was an eventual two-spot charge for Brown, advancing from eighth to finish sixth.

“A pretty decent night for our Casey’s | FVP team. Started off third quick before advancing from fifth to third in the heat, so we had the dealings of a solid performance,” Brown said. “At one point I thought we were a third or fourth place car, but we got to racing pretty hard there at the end and ended up sixth. Just off a little bit from where I feel we need to be. Those few other guys are a little bit better than us right now, but that’s what makes you keep your head down and keep grinding. We’re always trying to find the little things that make you better. 

“That’s the good part about our team…there’s no quit,” Brown added. “We hit the reset button Monday morning and work to find ways to be better than we were the week before. If we can do that, we’re heading in the right direction. Excited to get back to Knoxville on Saturday and put our work in the shop to good use.”
