Blackjack battles hard in four days at Huset’s; Wheatland, Knoxville on potential agenda
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (June 23, 2025) – Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing battled the best in the business during their extended weekend in South Dakota, not only qualifying for each of Huset’s Speedway’s Huset’s Hustle A-Mains, but racing on to qualify for each of the High Bank Nationals A-Mains, as well. Adding to the week-long luster, the four-day showcase offered big money, awarding a combined $390,000 to the winners alone.
“A decent weekend at Huset’s Speedway for our Casey’s | FVP team,” Brown said. “Very proud of our team for making all four of the week’s A-Mains. Definitely one of the toughest fields of cars that we’ll face all year long. We felt like we gained on some things and I was feeling better as the week went on. I still have some lingering effects from that crash at Knoxville, but I’m getting better and better as the days pass. Definitely on the right page there, despite not having the finishes that we wanted. But, we made the show all four nights and that’s something to be proud of.”
As noted, Blackjack capped his four days at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, with four-straight A-Main appearances, finishing 15th and 22nd in the Huset’s Hustle preliminary and finale, respectively, followed by 22nd and 23rd-place finishes in the High Bank Nationals preliminary and finale, respectively. The talent was deep in the Mount Rushmore State, not only featuring the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, but all of the stars and cars from High Limit Racing.
“We’re going to take some time at home, get some things rebuilt and see where we are later in the week,” Brown added. “We plan to be at Lucas Oil on Thursday and Friday then back at Knoxville on Saturday. Knoxville is for certain. We’ll just kinda have to see where things go weather-wise and everything else before we make a decision for Thursday and Friday.”
ON DECK:
Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing will continue their 2025 season with three events, potentially kicking things off with High Limit Racing at Lucas Oil Speedway on Thursday and Friday, June 26-27. Brown’s weekend will conclude with action at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday, June 28.
