Whittall’s PA Speedweek campaign caps with big rally at Port Royal; Speed Palace again July 12
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
VINCENTOWN, N.J. (July 7, 2025) – Although not competing in the entire Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek slate, Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall participated in most, entering five of the seven events contested with the most recent, incidentally his top result, occurring at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” on Saturday, July 5. Whittall, contending for the 2025 Port Royal Speedway Track Championship, capped his five-race Speedweek slate with one top-five and three top-tens, all of which catapulting his season’s top-ten tally to 15, eight of which notched within the top-five.
As hinted, Whittall, driver of his family-owned RBH Group, Turret Engineering, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car, earned his top Speedweek result at Port Royal on July 5, climbing ahead from 12th on the Greg Hodnett Classic grid to finish fourth. The sound result not only allowed Whittall to claim the evening’s Hard Charger Award, but the Garden State wheelman remains atop the Speedway’s championship standings, tied with National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Lance Dewease.
Whittall finished tenth at Port Royal Speedway on July 2 and eighth at Hagerstown Speedway on July 3.
“It was a busy week in Pennsylvania but we enjoyed every minute of it,” Whittall said. “Just a total-team effort. We didn’t run the entire Speedweek schedule, but it’s still a lot of work to keep things moving forward, and I owe that all to my team and all of our great partners. To be in the position that we are at Port Royal is pretty special. Lance [Dewease] is a legend and to be tied with him in the championship is really special. We have a long way to go, but we’re focused.”
