BROWNSBURG, Ind. (July 28, 2025) – Although Mother Nature did her best to ruin all hope for racing along their Mid-Atlantic road trip, ultimately losing Williams Grove Speedway’s Summer Nationals to cancellation, action went on as scheduled Wednesday, July 23, and Sunday, July 27, with the Greatest Show On Dirt invading BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, Pennsylvania, and Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, New York, respectively.
Donny Schatz, ace of Tony Stewart’s Carquest, Advance Auto Parts, Curb Records, Martin One Source, No. 15 sprint car, did his best to conquer along the way, closing out the two-race road trip displaying consistency and perseverance. The ten-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion and Fargo, North Dakota, native battled ahead seven positions to finish 11th at BAPS on Wednesday, that of which followed by a 14th-place outcome at Weedsport on Sunday – he started in the exact same position. With all results considered, Schatz remains sixth in the 2025 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship chase, amassing 24 top-tens in 44 A-Main starts.
With little time to waste, Schatz and TSR will begin preparations for a busy August slate, first taking on the highbanks of I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, for the annual Ironman 55 on August 1-2.
