GUESS WHO’S BACK: A-Aron to make RSR return in Port Royal’s Tuscarora 50; Sanders pilots team to Skagit Nationals top-five

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

KNOXVILLE, Iowa (September 2, 2025) – Officially reinstated, “A-Aron” Aaron Reutzel will make his highly-anticipated return to Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) during the coming weekend, set to mold back into the seat for Port Royal Speedway’s annual Tuscarora 50 featuring High Limit Racing. The Clute, Texas, native, who has been on injury reserve since a Kings Royal Week incident at Eldora Speedway in July, is certainly no stranger to the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace,” conquering the facility’s Bob Weikert Memorial for a $100,000 payday earlier this season.

Although unable to compete due to a foot injury, Reutzel’s sideline involvement with RSR proved vital, helping interim wheelman Justin Sanders become acclimated, as well as successful. Sanders’ most recent stretch with RSR included three top-ten performances, all of which highlighted with a fifth-place score in Skagit Speedway’s $126,000-to-win Skagit Nationals finale on Saturday, August 30. The top-five earned RSR a cool $10,000, as well as the team’s 27th top-five of the year.

Other notable performances by Justin Sanders includes a Hard Charge during night one of the Skagit Nationals. The California native rallied from 21st to finish sixth, forced to start deep after a heat race incident sent Sanders to the B-Main.

“Can’t say enough about Justin Sanders and what he’s been able to do for this race team. He jumped in and did a fantastic job and we were privileged to have him,” Brian Ridge, owner of RSR, stated. “We’re happy to have Aaron [Reutzel] back in time for Port Royal Speedway. He knows his way around that place and we’re aiming to put another Crown Jewel on our team’s resume.”

Aaron Reutzel and RSR will roll into Port Royal Speedway’s Tuscarora 50 – awarding $58,000 on Saturday, September 6- with nine victories to their credit, two of which earned by Justin Sanders. Ridge & Sons Racing is currently second in the High Limit Racing team standings with only a ten point gap separating themselves from Rico Abreu Racing.
