Whittall scores two top-fives in three starts; Kevin Gobrecht weekend ahead

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (September 15, 2025) – It was a three-race stretch through Posse Country for Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports, eventually concluding competition with two top-fives in three starts, all of which activating with a podium run at the famed Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, September 12. The recently crowned Port Royal Speedway champion, a first-ever feat, finished second in his podium outcome, commencing his Billy Kimmel Memorial campaign from the point – directly beside eventual winner Brock Zearfoss. The New Jersey ace launched his effort with a heat race victory.

Whittall’s second of two top-fives occurred two nights later at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, concluding the Jim Nace Memorial National Open with a fourth-place score. The finish bumped Whittall’s top-five count to 16 on the season, simultaneously increasing his top-ten count to 28.

Although missing the top-ten, Whittall’s effort in Saturday’s Weldon Sterner Memorial at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, was productive in its own right, turning a not-so-routine visit to the Pigeon Hills into a 13th-place score.

“Another great weekend for our RBH Group | JW Motorsports team. The pressure is off now that we accomplished our championship goals at Port Royal, so I think it’s easier now just to go out and ‘race,’” Whittall said. “The plan is to continue our season at Williams Grove and BAPS this weekend. We’ll do our best to honor one of the sport’s greats.”
