Reutzel highlights recent High Limit stretch with top-ten in New Jersey; Lee County’s Hawkeye Nationals to kick-off October

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

KNOXVILLE, Iowa (September 29, 2025) – It was a roller coaster weekend in the Mid-Atlantic for Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), highlighting their trips to Bridgeport Motorsports Park in Bridgeport, New Jersey, and Path Valley Speedway Park in Spring Run, Pennsylvania, with a top-ten finish, doing so at the former on Saturday, September 27. Reutzel, whose RSR No. 87 is still in the hunt for a High Limit Racing Team Championship, finished sixth in his top-ten appearance, commencing action from fifth on the grid after finishing third in his respective heat race.

The Clute, Texas, native activated his campaign at New Jersey’s “Kingdom of Speed” with the evening’s fastest qualifying time – it was Reutzel’s tenth “Quick Time” of the year.

After utilizing a provisional at Path Valley on Sunday, Reutzel and RSR raced their way to a 17th-place score.

“An up and down weekend, for sure, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. We still have time to close the gap in the team race, but it’s going to take some work,” Brian Ridge, owner of the Power Plus, Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, American Table, Commercial Edge, Rasmusson Service Center, The P.O. Box, Bargain Barn, No. 87 sprint car, said. “But still, hats off to this entire team. No matter what’s thrown their way, they always find a way to overcome it, and they’ve proven that over and over this year. Take away the hiccups and obstacles and I think we have a championship locked.

“Ready to get after it close to home this weekend,” Ridge continued. “Racing at Lee County gives us the opportunity to race in front of our home state partners. It should be an exciting weekend.”
