Whittall wheels to National Open preliminary top-five; Weekend schedule to be determined
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
VINCENTOWN, N.J. (October 6, 2025) – Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports did their best to beat the best in Williams Grove Speedway’s annual National Open on Friday and Saturday, October 3-4, and although the Vincentown, New Jersey, wheelman was shy of attaining a victory against the Greatest Show On Dirt, he did the next best thing, highlighting all competition with a top-five – a fifth-place score on Friday, October 3. Whittall, the 2025 Port Royal Speedway Track Champion and one-time winner, started eighth on the Friday night lidlifter, eventually locking down his 17th top-five of the season and his second with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.
Whittall, ace of his own RBH Group, Turret Engineering, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car, raced on to finish 12th in the $75,000-to-win National Open finale on Saturday, October 4, driving into the big dance via third-place finish during heat race competition.
“I’m pretty happy with our weekend performances. We wanted a little bit more out of our Saturday try, but we’ll check this off and move forward. A top-five against the Outlaws at Williams Grove Speedway is always special,” Justin Whittall said. “We’re not quite sure of the plan for the coming weekend yet. We’re going to weigh out our options and determine what’s best.”
