Reutzel and RSR claim Hawkeye Nationals title; Lakeside to continue High Limit Racing schedule
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
KNOXVILLE, Iowa (October 6, 2025) – “A-Aron” Aaron Reutzel was almost perfect in his weekend effort at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa, joining the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League for the two-day Hawkeye Nationals on Friday and Saturday, October 3-4.
Reutzel, the ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Ridge & Sons Racing, Power Plus, Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, American Table, Commercial Edge, Rasmusson Service Center, The P.O. Box, Bargain Barn, No. 87 sprinter, finished no worse than second in his two-day campaign, eventually concluding action with a victory over Emerson Axsom in the weekend finale. The Hawkeye Nationals triumph, Reutzel’s second of the year with POWRi, secured a $7,000 payday, simultaneously pushing his season’s win tally to 12, as well as 34 top-fives. The Clute, Texas, native secured his trip to victory lane with a move on lap 10, driving on to lead the final 15 circuits.
As hinted, Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) opened their Lee County assault with a runner-up score on Friday, falling just behind Oklahoma’s own Brady Bacon.
“To get a win in Iowa is always special. We had a lot of friends, family, and partners with us all weekend at Lee County, so to get it done in front of them is a huge deal. I’m proud of everyone,” Brian Ridge was quick to note. “Our High Limit schedule continues this weekend in Kansas City…we’ll be ready. The team title is still in reach. We just have to capitalize.”
