The weekend looks wet; but what else is new? The plans are to attend both Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park this weekend. If Lernerville would happen to cancel early enough; my back up plan is to head east to Williams Grove Speedway for the $6,000 to win Tommy Classic. There is a $30,000 total purse on the line for Friday night with eastern and central PA’s best expected to attend. It is also a time trial event with qualifying set to begin at 7:30.
So Im thinking, if Lernerville pulls the plug by 3:00 – I can definitely get to Williams Grove no problem; give or take a few speeding tickets and reckless driving citations. But that is a chance I am willing to take.
