Kittanning, Pennsylvania’s Rod George will look to score a victory this weekend at two different western Pennsylvania race tracks! The Fully Injected teammate and regular ‘410’ sprint car competitor at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, and Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania, will look to enter victory lane at both facilities in the coming days. George still remains winless in 2012, but plans to change that this Friday and Saturday, May 4th & 5th.
The pilot of the Kelsey George Racing/ Dr. John Crawford ‘CIII’ currently sits third in the Lernerville Speedway point standings with 63 points. The former track champion at Lernerville is only six (6) points behind the leaders, Kevin Schaeffer and Brandon Matus; whom are tied at the top with 69 points a piece. Track points have not yet been collected at Mercer Raceway Park. Competition at the Mercer 3/8’s mile oval has not taken place since the beginning of April. Brandon Spithaler was the Mercer Raceway Park ‘opening night’ victor.
