Hermitage, Pennsylvania native and FullyInjected.com supporter, Adam Kekich, prepares for what could be a busy next two weeks. The third generation ‘410’ sprint car driver out of Western Pennsylvania plans to race as much as possible during the next couple of weekends, including spending a little time on the road with the All-Star Circuit of Champions. The pilot of the familiar ‘5K’ sprinter will race not only at Mercer Raceway Park during the next two weeks, but also at a select number of ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ shows, sanctioned by the All-Star Circuit of Champions. This is the 30th year for the annual ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ – with nine consecutive nights of action scheduled for the 2012 edition. The top sprint car teams and drivers from all over the country will be signed in for the week-long mini-series; with Fully Injected’s Adam Kekich planning to stop in for a few.

“We want to race as much as we can” explained Adam Kekich, “Unfortunately, we don’t have the resources and funds to travel the entire speedweek schedule…we would like to race at a few of the dates…if we had some extra help financially then we could make the entire week happen!”

The Kekich Racing team plans to visit Sharon Speedway next Tuesday, June 26th with the All-Stars for an ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ stop. Another possible speedweek appearance for the ‘5K’ team is in Orrville, Ohio during the Wayne County Speedway ‘speedweek’ date on Monday, June 25th. Kekich has experience at both Ohio tracks, especially Hartford, Ohio’s Sharon Speedway; which acted as ‘home’ to Adam’s father for many seasons in a ‘410’ sprinter.

“I have a lot of experience at Sharon Speedway” said Kekich, “My dad raced there for a lot of years and I spent a number of years there racing limited sprints…it’s always nice to go back there!”

Kekich is still searching for his first career sprint car win, and is dedicated to achieving that goal in the near future. Mercer Raceway Park’s ‘Mid-Season Championship’ is scheduled for this Saturday, June 23rd; giving Kekich and the entire team a perfect opportunity to not only earn their first, but gain some valuable momentum, and confidence, before their possible ‘speedweek’ venture.

“I put a lot of pressure on myself right now…it takes a toll on me but once I get that first win, then a lot of that weight will be lifted!”
