SANDUSKY, Ohio (May 20, 2024) – Memorial Day weekend is slated to be a busy one for Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing, not only visiting Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on Friday and Saturday, May 24-25, but ultimately returning to Fremont two nights later for a World of Outlaws start on Monday, May 27. Dubbed the Rick Ferkel Tribute, the Monday night showcase will award a $12,000 top prize.
Andrews, a former two-time Attica Raceway Park track champion, will roll into the holiday weekend fresh off of a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series start at the home of “Ohio’s Finest Racing” – Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio – on Friday, May 17. A stout field left little room for error and Andrews was forced to miss main event competition, failing to qualify through the preliminary program and Last Chance Showdown.
“We’re still fighting to find our stride, but we’ll get there,” Andrews, ace of the Ohio Truck Sales, OTS Truck Centers, Fleet Capital, Cintas, Kenworth of Cleveland, No. 15C sprint car, said. “Just thankful to have so many great partners supporting our efforts. We’re working toward some World of Outlaws redemption Monday night. We missed the show at Attica, but I’m happy to get a second chance.”

Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with a busy Memorial Day slate, visiting Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway in consecutive fashion May 24-25, followed by a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series start at Fremont Speedway on Monday, May 27.
