Sarver, PA (April 14th, 2013) – Adam ‘Bomb’ Kekich kicked off his 2013 racing campaign on Sunday evening, April 14th, at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania; taking part in the annual ‘Steel City Stampede’ finale that was originally scheduled for last October. The return to Lernerville Speedway to complete the ‘Steel City Stampede’ program would prove to be beneficial for Adam Kekich; as the young man would find victory lane for the first time in his career at the Sarver, Pennsylvania oval while piloting the Fatcatz Tattoos, C&C Audio Exchange, Len Lagastee owned no. 5 ‘305’ sprint car.

Kekich, who normally competes among the ‘410’ sprint car ranks in Western Pennsylvania, drove the Len Lagastee owned ‘305’ sprinter to a Lernerville Speedway win from the front row of his respective ‘Steel City Stampede’ main event; holding off fellow Western Pennsylvania native, Greg Dobrosky (2nd), and Jim Morris (3rd), for the ‘305’ sprint car victory. The dominating win now gives the Hermitage, Pennsylvania native two career sprint car victories; one during ‘410’ sprint car competition at the Mercer Raceway Park; and one during ‘305’ sprint car competition at the Lernerville Speedway. For a complete ‘305’ sprint car feature rundown from the ‘Steel City Stampede’ finale, please visit Lernerville Speedway online at www.lernerville.com.

Adam Kekich lead every lap of the ‘305’ sprint car main event during the ‘Steel City Stampede’ finale on Sunday evening; surviving tricky daytime racing conditions, and a red flag, to earn the $500 victory over the fourteen (14) car field. The third generation sprint car driver plans to be back behind of the wheel of his Kekich Racing, Sunburst Environmental, ‘410’ sprinter next Friday and Saturday, April 19th & 20th, in Western Pennsylvania; making potential stops at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania; and at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Adam Kekich hopes to continue his recent winning trend, and make another visit to the notorious Lernerville Speedway victory lane next Friday night; only this time in his Kekich Racing, Sunburst Environmental, no. 5K ‘410’ sprint car.
