Alan Krimes Anxious for ‘Icebreaker 30’ at Lincoln Speedway
Defending Lincoln Champ Looks to Defend Title in 2015

Denver, PA (February 5th, 2015) – ‘Super’ Alan Krimes will not have to wait much longer to activate his 2015 campaign, as action in central Pennsylvania is set to kick-off in just over two weeks. The 2014 Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ sprint car track champion will join the ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ at the annual ‘Icebreaker 30’ season opener; set to take shape on Saturday, February 21st at the Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Krimes finished his 2014 campaign with two victories in the Pigeon Hills, and looks to become reacquainted with Lincoln Speedway victory lane on February 21st. The 2015 edition of the ‘Icebreaker 30’ will award $4,000 to the main event winner.
“We are just about ready to go” explained Alan Krimes, “We always look forward to the Icebreaker at Lincoln…it’s a great way to start the year…hopefully the weather cooperates and we can race when it is scheduled…winning would definitely set the tone for the entire year…we’ll keep working hard and hopefully that will pay off.”
Business as usual for Alan Krimes and the Krimes Racing Engines, Wayne Corini, VRP Shocks, no. 87 sprint car team. The Denver, Pennsylvania native will follow most of the 2015 central Pennsylvania circuit; making appearances at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on a weekly basis, as well as target a 2015 ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ championship. Schedule permitting, Krimes will visit the Path Valley Speedway near Spring Run, Pennsylvania for all of their scheduled ‘410’ sprint car programs. Ultimately, Krimes plans to defend his 2014 Lincoln Speedway championship.
