Denver, PA (August 14th, 2014) – With only three point races remaining on the 2014 Lincoln Speedway schedule, and Alan Krimes holding a 225 point advantage heading into the upcoming weekend, most race fans would agree that Alan Krimes is in a perfect position to secure a career-first track championship. Krimes, who finished second last Saturday evening, August 9th at the Pigeon Hills venue, sits on top of the current Lincoln Speedway championship standings with 5625 points; on the strength of two victories, seven top-five finishes and eleven top-ten finishes. The pilot of the Midnite Antiques, Conestoga Valley Garage, Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, no. 87 ‘410’ sprinter will continue his Lincoln Speedway track championship quest this Saturday night, August 16th; but not before making a visit to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania for ‘Twin 20’s’ competition on Friday evening, August 15th.

Williams Grove Speedway will host two, 20-lap main events for the ‘410’ sprint cars this Friday evening, with $2,500 being awarded to each feature winner. Alan Krimes will enter action at ‘The Grove’ currently fourth in the ‘410’ driver standings; trailing point leader, Don Kreitz Jr., by 450 markers. The Denver, Pennsylvania native will work towards his first Williams Grove Speedway win of the 2014 season this Friday night, with a $5,000 possibility on the line if a ‘clean sweep’ can be attained. ‘Super’ Alan Krimes will enter the upcoming weekend fourth (4th) in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL PA SPRINT CAR SERIES Presented by Hoseheads.com point standings with 593 points; on the strength of two (2) Central Pennsylvania victories.

The Midnite Antiques/Conestoga Valley Garage/Wayne Corini/Krimes Racing Engines/VRP Shocks/ ‘Super 87’ team will be a part of all of the action each and every weekend in the heart of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory; chasing track championships at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway.
