Denver, PA (April 13th, 2014) – ‘Super’ Alan Krimes earned his first sprint car victory of the 2014 season this past Saturday evening, April 12th. The pilot of the Midnite Antiques, Conestoga Valley Garage, Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, no. 87 ‘410’ sprinter picked up the win at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania; bettering twenty-eight (28) other ‘410’ sprint car entries who signed-in for action on ARCH Night. Krimes, who was a three-time Lincoln Speedway winner in 2013, earned the April 12th victory from the ninth (9th) starting position; holding off Robbie Kendall and Danny Dietrich for the $3,300 top prize. The Denver, Pennsylvania native kicked-off the evening with a fourth (4th) place finish during his respective heat race; automatically qualifying him for the 25-lap main event that he would eventually take control of.

Central Pennsylvania sprint car competition will continue for Alan Krimes next Friday and Saturday, April 18th and 19th. The ‘Super 87’ entry will make it’s usual visits to the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway during the upcoming weekend. Although the destinations are the same, the prize money is not. Each venue will feature a ‘special’ program during the upcoming weekend; with prize monies higher than usual. Alan Krimes will kick things off at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, April 18th; taking part in the Spring Classic Tommy Hinnershitz Memorial.

The Spring Classic Tommy Hinnershitz Memorial at Williams Grove Speedway will feature a 30-lap, $6,000-to-win main event for the ‘410’ sprint cars. A time trial format will be used during the big-money program. The world-famous Mechanicsburg half-mile will attempt to end a two-week wet spell; with their last two programs being canceled due to inclement weather. Alan Krimes is certainly no stranger to victory lane during high-dollar events at Williams Grove Speedway; earning the $10,000 ‘Mitch Smith Memorial’ victory back in 2011.

Krimes will make his return to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, April 19th. The ‘Spring Championship’ will be the featured event at the Pigeon Hills oval with a $4,000 top prize on the line for the ‘410’ sprinters. Alan Krimes hopes to use his recent Lincoln Speedway victory as a positive source of momentum, and put himself in contention for the $4,000 pay day. All together, a $10,000 possibility is on the line this weekend in Central Pennsylvania for Alan Krimes and the ‘Super 87’ team. A weekend sweep would do nothing but benefit the Denver, Pennsylvania native financially and statistically; as he continues to chase 2014 track championships at both Williams Grove and Lincoln.

The Midnite Antiques/Conestoga Valley Garage/Wayne Corini/Krimes Racing Engines/VRP Shocks ‘87’ team will be a part of all of the action each and every weekend in the heart of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory.
