Denver, PA (June 30th, 2013) – With three (3) ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ events already in the books for 2013, Denver, Pennsylvania native Alan Krimes will head into the off-day on Monday, July 1st with one (1) victory and one (1) top-ten finish. Krimes, who pilots the very familiar Conestoga Valley Garage, Krimes Racing Engines, no. 87 ‘410’ sprint car weekly in Central Pennsylvania, entered all three (3) ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ events contested thus far; with his highest finish being a victory. The speedweek win took place on Saturday evening, June 29th at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The 30-lap, $5,000 triumph was Krimes’ 13th career Lincoln Speedway victory. Krimes would lead Fred Rahmer and Stevie Smith at the line; beating the all-time Lincoln Speedway win leader by over three (3) seconds.

Alan Krimes, who is also a recent Lincoln Speedway UNOH All Star winner, would kick-off his 2013 ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ schedule with a ninth (9th) place finish at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, June 28th. The most recent ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ event took place earlier this evening, Sunday, June 30th, at the Big Diamond Speedway in Minersville, Pennsylvania. Alan Krimes would suffer from rear end failure just before feature action; resulting in a ‘DNF’ for the evening. Unfortunately, the ‘DNF’ at Big Diamond Speedway would shift Alan Krimes from the ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ point leader, to eighth (8th) in the current speedweek standings. On the bright side, the June 29th, Lincoln Speedway ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ victory now gives Alan Krimes four (4) total wins for the 2013 season thus far; including a $5,000 UNOH All Star victory.

Alan Krimes and the Conestoga Valley Garage no. 87 team will be participating in all of the remaining 2013 ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ events; which consists of  Grandview Speedway on Tuesday, July 2nd; Hagerstown Speedway on Wednesday, July 3rd; Lincoln Speedway on Thursday, July 4th; Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, July 5th; Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, July 6th; and finally, rounding out the week at the Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday, July 7th.

The Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ team will be a part of all of the action each and every weekend in the heart of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory.
