Alan Krimes Looks to Battle Back
Denver Native Looks to Recover after Consecutive Mechanical Mishaps

Denver, PA (April 2nd, 2015) – Despite the ‘tough luck’ and disappointment, resulting from two consecutive ‘DNF’ finishes in central Pennsylvania on March 27th & 29th, ‘Super’ Alan Krimes will persevere, and look ahead towards the upcoming weekend at ‘The Grove’ and Lincoln. Krimes, the 2014 Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ track champion, will enter competition at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, April 3rd; followed by a visit to the Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 4th. Lincoln’s ‘Sprint Spring Championship,’ central Pennsylvania’s first ‘high profile’ program of 2015, will headline Alan Krimes’ upcoming weekend. $5,000 will be up for grabs in the Pigeon Hills on April 4th.
“We had some tough luck all last weekend…nothing we can’t fix” said Alan Krimes, “At the grove on Friday, we had some bearing issues and our left front wheel locked up…on Sunday at Lincoln, the bolt on the throttle linkage broke…little things that put us out of the race…I think we broke more in one weekend than we did all last year…it’s definitely frustrating, but those are little things you really can’t control…we’ll have everything ready for the weekend…still a long season ahead.”
Despite the tough stretch, Alan Krimes and the Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, ‘87’ team will enter the upcoming weekend thirteenth in the current Central PA ‘410’ sprint car standings. The Denver, Pennsylvania native ended his 2014 season fifth in the final Central PA point championship; earning two victories at the Lincoln Speedway along the way.
