Denver, PA (June 10th, 2014) – The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions is set to invade the central part of the ‘Keystone State’ once again in 2014; with scheduled visits to the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway each taking shape during the upcoming weekend. Alan Krimes, a former winner with the UNOH All Stars in central Pennsylvania, will take part in both upcoming weekend events; beginning Friday evening, June 13th at Williams Grove Speedway. Krimes is a two-time winner with the ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ already in 2014, and looks to earn one, if not both, of the $5,000 prizes up for grabs this weekend.
The upcoming UNOH All Star swing through central Pennsylvania, led by current All Star point leader Dale Blaney, will activate on Friday evening, June 13th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Alan Krimes is a full-time competitor at the world famous half-mile dirt oval, and currently finds himself fifth (5th) in the updated ‘410’ track championship standings. The pilot of the Midnite Antiques/Conestoga Valley Garage/Wayne Corini/Krimes Racing Engines/VRP Shocks/ no. 87 ‘410’ sprinter has not yet earned a victory at ‘The Grove’ in 2014, but has five-thousand reasons to do so this weekend. The Friday program will be highlighted with a 30-lap, $5,000-to-win UNOH All Star main event.
Alan Krimes will continue UNOH All Star competition on Saturday evening, June 14th when the series visits the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Krimes, who is the current track championship point leader at the Pigeon Hills dirt oval, earned a UNOH All Star main event win at Lincoln Speedway back in 2013, and will look to repeat that dominance this Saturday night. The two-time Lincoln Speedway winner already in 2014 absolutely dominated last year’s UNOH All Star event at Lincoln; earning the win by a four second margin of victory. The Denver, Pennsylvania native is the sure favorite to defend home dirt again this weekend.
‘Super’ Alan Krimes will enter the upcoming weekend third (3rd) in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL PA SPRINT CAR SERIES Presented by Hoseheads.com point standings with 298 points; on the strength of two (2) Central Pennsylvania victories.
The Midnite Antiques/Conestoga Valley Garage/Wayne Corini/Krimes Racing Engines/VRP Shocks/ ‘Super 87’ team will be a part of all of the action each and every weekend in the heart of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory; chasing track championships at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway.
