Denver, PA (April 29th, 2013) – Alan Krimes has been a ‘man on a mission’ lately in Central Pennsylvania. Not only is the Denver, Pennsylvania native on an impressive roll at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania; earning one (1) win, five (5) top five and eight (8) top ten finishes, but the one-time winner already in 2013 finds himself within the top five of the current Central PA sprint car standings. Krimes proved to Central Pennsylvania fans once again this past weekend that the Conestoga Valley Garage no. 87 ‘410’ sprint car team is worthy of the hype.

Alan Krimes kicked off his recent weekend in Central Pennsylvania with a top five performance against the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The former Williams Grove Speedway winner finished fifth (5th) in the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions main event at Williams Grove on Friday, April 26th; rallying from an outside sixth row starting position to earn the top five finish. Krimes was forced to do things ‘the hard way’ on Friday evening; as the pilot of the Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ was forced to run the evening’s consolation B-main after not transferring through his respective UNOH All Star heat race. Krimes would conquer the 12-lap B-main, and then go on to charge seven positions during the main event to solidify himself inside the top five. Don Kreitz Jr. was the UNOH All Star winner on Friday evening. Forty-three (43) UNOH All Star teams were signed-in on April 26th. Check out the complete rundown at www.allstarsprint.com.

The Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ team would earn their second consecutive top five finish of the recent weekend on Saturday evening, April 27th, at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Alan Krimes would finish fifth (5th) during Lincoln Speedway’s 25-lap, $3,200-to-win main event on Saturday evening; charging from an outside fifth row starting spot to secure the top five finish. Krimes earned a spot in evening’s ‘410’ sprint car main event by winning his respective heat race. Former track champion, Brian Montieth, was the main event winner. Krimes entered the Saturday night program second (2nd) in the Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ driver standings.

Alan Krimes will be back in action in Central Pennsylvania this Friday and Saturday, May 3rd and 4th. The pilot of the Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ operation will be in action at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, May 3rd; before continuing his 2013 track championship quest at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, May 4th. Lincoln’s upcoming program will feature the ‘10th Annual Weldon Sterner Memorial.’ Williams Grove Speedway will feature a regular-weekly format.
