More interesting notes…
Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, will be offering twin 20 lap features for fans to spectate this Friday evening at the famed half-mile. Fully Injected teammate, Cory Haas, plans on competing at the time trial event; where the format will see the top 12 qualifiers automatically make the feature lineup. Lance Dewease currently holds the top spot in the Lawrence Chevrolet Williams Grove Speedway point standings coming into this weekend. He holds a relatively large margin over Doug Esh and Fred Rahmer in the points title chase. On an interesting note, Dewease did fly home on Friday of last week so that he could compete at Williams Grove Speedway for their weekly points race and then flew back to Knoxville, Iowa on Saturday; where he qualified for the Knoxville Nationals A-main event.
