SANDUSKY, Ohio (September 16, 2024) – In all, a great weekend at “The Track That Action Built” for Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing, not only concluding the Jim Ford Classic weekend with a 16th-place score in the $20,000-to-win finale, but ultimately kicking-off competition with a podium run in the Friday night preliminary; the tailend of a near-perfect effort for the Sandusky native.
Andrews, ace of his Ohio Truck Sales, OTS Truck Centers, Fleet Capital, Cintas, Kenworth of Cleveland, Toledo Spring, NAPA Fremont Auto Parts, Burdue Insurance, No. 15C sprint car, finished second in his podium pursuit, launching preliminary action with “quick time” in his respective group followed by a podium in his respective heat race. The eventual runner-up performance was Andrews’ best of the season, now with two top-fives on the year, as well as eight top-tens.
“We wanted to end our Jim Ford Classic effort the same way we started, but in all, a great effort for Chris Andrews Racing,” Andrews noted. “We’ve been doing everything we can to alter our program and build more consistency, and it all has to start somewhere. I’m proud of everyone. A few more starts left on our schedule so we’ll see what we can do.”

Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with visits to Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 20-21.
