SANDUSKY, Ohio (September 23, 2024) – Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing put together an impressive two-race stretch in northwest Ohio, not only concluding their visits to Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway with back-to-back top-tens, but they solidified a podium in the process, doing so at Fremont on Saturday, September 21.
Andrews, ace of his own Ohio Truck Sales, OTS Truck Centers, Fleet Capital, Cintas, Kenworth of Cleveland, Toledo Spring, No. 15C sprint car, finished third in his podium outcome, climbing six positions from the inside of row five. In fact, it was an all-podium evening for the Sandusky native; qualifying third overall before finishing third in his respective heat race. Andrews has become somewhat a regular fixture on Fremont Speedway’s podium, as the former Attica champion kicked-off the Speedway’s annual Jim Ford Classic weekend with a runner-up score on September 13.
Although ultimately closing out the weekend on a higher note, Andrews kicked-off action with a tenth-place score at Attica Raceway Park on Friday, September 20, getting a blast of momentum with a heat race victory during preliminary competition.
“Very happy with how our weekend ended. We’ve been working really, really hard at finding that sweet spot within our program and it feels like we finally got there. Not the best timing with our season nearly over, but better late than never,” Andrews expressed. “Just can’t say enough about this entire Chris Andrews Racing operation. There’s a lot of people that get us to the track and we certainly wouldn’t be in this position without them.
“We’re not sure of any upcoming plans at this time. If we decide to race, we’ll post about it as soon as possible.”
