Andrews with tough outing against Outlaws; AFCS pair ahead

SANDUSKY, Ohio (May 27, 2025) – Forced to wait and extra day due to Mother Nature, Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing did their best to battle the Greatest Show On Dirt Saturday night at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, but the former track champion fell just short, missing the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A-Main by one position.
Andrews, ace of his own Ohio Truck Sales, Real American Beer, Fleet Financial, Cintas, Kenworth of Cleveland, Toledo Spring, NAPA Fremont Auto Parts, Burdue Insurance, TruckParts4U.com, No. 15C sprint car, finished fifth in the evening’s Last Chance Showdown with only four making the cut. And although the evening ended short of the ultimate goal, the team’s attention is already aimed ahead, ready for a routine AFCS weekend back at Attica and Fremont Speedway.
“Just short…that’s all I can say,” Andrews was quick to note. “But it’s not from a lack of trying. The boys worked their butts off and they did their best to give me the best car possible. We’ll go back to the notebook and try again Friday and Saturday when we get back to Attica and Fremont.”
Andrews is a one-time winner in 2025, doing so at Attica Raceway Park on March 28.
ON DECK:
Chris Andrews and Chris Andrews Racing will continue their 2025 season with routine visits to Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on May 30-31. Each event is an Attica/Fremont Championship Series program.
