Arizona Sport Shirts Continuing As Official Merchandise Provider/Partner Of World of Outlaws Late Model Series And DIRTcar Racing In 2014
Indianapolis-Based Company Will Celebrate 40th Anniversary With Season-Long Specials For Fans & Racers

CONCORD, NC – Feb. 6, 2014 – Arizona Sport Shirts has extended its commitment as the official merchandise provider and partner of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and DIRTcar Racing organization for the 2014 season.

Continuing a successful partnership with the World Racing Group-owned series that has stretched for nearly a decade, the Indianapolis-based company will have dedicated merchandise trailers at all WoO LMS and DIRTcar Summer Nationals ‘Hell Tour’ Late Model events this season as well as selected other DIRTcar-sanctioned shows to offer fans a wide selection of branded apparel and collectibles.

“I am so proud to say we have re-signed with the World Racing Group to service the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, the DIRTcar Summer Nationals and DIRTcar Racing,” said Gerald Newton, Senior Vice President of Operations for Arizona Sport Shirts. “I am very involved with the series, so this is not just a business partnership for me. It goes beyond that level. You gotta have heart and a love for the sport, and we have it for these series.”

Arizona Sports Shirts’ distinctive 53-foot Featherlite ‘super trailer’ loaded with WoO LMS merchandise will once again be on hand to accommodate fans at all tracks hosting full-fender World of Outlaws races in 2014. The company’s strong presence at WoO LMS events will also include a new, better equipped ‘GottaRace.com’ merchandise trailer and, for the first time, a trailer dedicated to selling apparel for two-time WoO LMS champion Darrell Lanigan.

Arizona Sport Shirts began producing apparel and other items for the WoO LMS midway through the 2006 season. It stepped up its product line and presence at tour events in 2011 after inking an unprecedented three-year contract as the circuit’s official merchandise provider and has now extended that relationship into the future.

The 2014 racing campaign will mark the 40th anniversary of the birth of Arizona Sports Shirts – and to commemorate the milestone, the firm will give fans and racers plenty of added incentive to visit its merchandise trailers.

“We’re thrilled to be celebrating our 40th anniversary in business,” said Newton. “The fortitude and dedication of Karl Korbacher (President and founder of Arizona Sports Shirts) has brought us a long way and partnerships like the ones we have with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and DIRTcar Racing will continue taking us to even greater heights.

“Karl and all of us at Arizona Sports Shirts have an outright love of our sport and we plan to share that feeling all year with the fans and racers by doing special things in honor of our 40th anniversary. Fans will definitely want to stop by our merchandise trailers at World of Outlaws and DIRTcar Racing events to see the 40th anniversary deals we’ll be offering.”

Arizona Sport Shirts’ WoO LMS Merchandise Center will make its 2014 debut when the national tour kicks off the new season with the Bubba Army Dirt Late Model Winter Nationals Feb. 14-16 at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla. The trailer will also be stationed at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., Feb. 17-22 for the Late Model portion of the DIRTcar Nationals by Summit Racing Equipment, which features DIRTcar-sanctioned events Feb. 17-19 and WoO LMS programs Feb. 20-22.
