NEW CASTLE, IN (July 20, 2017) – Heading into a busy weekend in Western Pennsylvania, Caleb Armstrong sits a strong third in Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champion point standings.
This weekend, the ‘7C’ and the rest of the All Stars will make three starts in The Keystone State starting Friday at Eriez Speedway in Erie. Saturday night the series returns to the monster half mile at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway before concluding the weekend Sunday at Tri-City Raceway in Franklin.
Armstrong sits third in points behind Chad Kemenah and Ryan Smith, both of whom are coming off strong top-ten runs on one of sprint cars biggest stages, Eldora’s Kings Royal. Armstrong has five top-fives and 12 top-tens and will be looking to add to those numbers this weekend.
Armstrong was quick to thank his current partners: Baker Crop Insurance, Neal Metal Recycling, All-Star Performance, Armstrong Farms, Specialty Fuels & Logistics, Beast Enterprise, Simpson Racing Products, Wilwood Brakes, Wings Unlimited, PAC Racing Springs, Penske Shocks, and Schoenfeld Headers. Armstrong appreciatively echoed that he would not be able to stay on the All Star tour without these great partners.
