GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (February 5, 2024) – As tradition has it, “Blackjack” Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing will roll into the new year with big plans and high hopes, prepped to not only unveil another giant campaign with dates throughout much of the South, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic, but the Grain Valley, Missouri-based operation will once again activate their schedule in the Sunshine State – joining the Greatest Show On Dirt for the annual DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park.

Brown, ace of the Casey’s/FVP No. 21 sprint car, will battle the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in each and every night of their season lidlifter, activating action officially with an open practice on Tuesday, February 6. Four straight programs will headline the week on Wednesday through Saturday, February 7-10.

Brown’s recent Volusia Speedway Park highlights include back-to-back World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series top-five finishes on Sunday, March 5, finishing fifth and third during the Spring Showdown opener and DIRTcar Nationals make-up feature, respectively.

“It’s been a part of our racing tradition for a long time. Nothing like escaping the winter cold and opening the season with action at Volusia. It’s a great way to shake things down and ultimately get the new year off on the right foot,” Brown stated. “Our plans will vary as the season progresses, but I feel we have a pretty solid foundation. We were fortunate to put up some big numbers aboard our Caseys/FVP No. 21 last year and I’m confident we can outdo those statistics in 2024.”

In addition to the DIRTcar Nationals, other major events on Brown’s 2024 agenda include Eldora Speedway’s Kings Royal, Huset’s Speedway’s High Bank Nationals, Knoxville Raceway’s coveted 360 and 410 Nationals, Port Royal Speedway’s Weikert and Tuscarora 50 weekends, and The Dirt Track at Charlotte’s World of Outlaws World Finals in early November.

Blackjack will roll into the new season with a fair share of momentum, not only solidifying 24 top-fives in his most recent campaign, but scoring eight victories in the process, one of which a 360 Knoxville Nationals championship in early August. In addition, Brown was victorious in the 2023 Tuscarora 50 – the biggest and richest triumph of his career that was accompanied by a $62,000 payday.

“I want to thank my team for all of their hard work this off-season. It’s their dedication that puts us in a position to be competitive right out of the box,” Brown added. “Chad Morgan (Crew Chief), Justin Lawer (Car Chief), Devin Brenneman (Tire Specialist), Robert Brown (Jack of All Trades), Lath Hicks (Assistant Tire Specialist)…I owe it to them to put their hard work into motion. They bust their butts and I’m proud of their efforts.”
