BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (May 2, 2024) – It’s full steam ahead for Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing, not only activating their busy May agenda with an epic doubleheader in the Buckeye State, but doing so at the World’s Greatest Dirt Track, joining the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for its annual #LetsRaceTwo program Friday and Saturday, May 3-4.
Co-headlined by the USAC National Sprint Cars, Eldora Speedway’s #LetsRaceTwo event will feature two complete programs for each of the invading Series with the World of Outlaws segments awarding $12,000-to-win each. Wilson, certainly no stranger to Rossburg’s Eldora Speedway, will roll into the weekend fresh off of a pair of World of Outlaws starts in Kentucky and Indiana, highlighting the duo with a 19th-place performance at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky, on Friday, April 19; he advanced five positions.
Wilson owns one top-five on the year, earning the feat at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio.
“Eldora Speedway is special. No matter the event, time of year, Series…it’s always a special place to race and we’re excited to go back,” Wilson, a former two-time All Star champion, added. “Just so fortunate to be connected with so many great people, because it’s their support that allows us to go out and compete. Some of the best in the business will be with us this weekend, but we have a pretty sound Eldora notebook. We’ll be sure to put that to good use.”
The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will not return to Eldora Speedway until July for Kings Royal weekend.
