Back to the Burgh; Sodeman Will Visit “PPMS” for Recently Added Program

NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (September 13, 2016) – Recently announced and dubbed the “Racers Request 20,” Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial will once again host the 410 sprint cars on Saturday evening, September 17. The late addition will award a $2,000 top prize and will serve as the upcoming weekend’s only sprint car program in Western Pennsylvania, an opportunity for Jack Sodeman, Jr. to push his 2016 win total above the double-digit plateau.
“We are always excited to race at Pittsburgh,” Sodeman said. “Hats off to the track staff and crew for making this event possible. Our area gets pretty slim with events toward the later parts of the season. We’ll head there on Saturday with the intent to win.”
Jack Sodeman, Jr., pilot of the Glassmere Fuel, Economy Tooling, PRS Transit, Townsend Gas & Oil, Inc., Butlerbuilt, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Simpson Race Products, Triple X Race Components, No. 23Jr., finished seventh during his most recent Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway appearance on Saturday, September 3. The North Jackson, Ohio, native will enter the “Racers Request 20” with nine main event wins on the season and two track championships; Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park.
