North Jackson, Ohio (June 5th, 2013) – After earning two consecutive podium finishes during ‘410’ sprint car competition last Friday and Saturday in Western Pennsylvania, Jack Sodeman Jr. and Rudzik Racing will make their return to the western half of the ‘Keystone State’ this Friday and Saturday, June 7th & 8th, for ‘regular’ events at the Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park. Sodeman Jr. is fond of both Western Pennsylvania ovals, and hopes to better his recent podium finishes by finding victory lane.
The Rudzik Racing, Rudzik Excavating, no. 94 ‘410’ sprint car team will begin their upcoming weekend with an appearance at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, June 7th. The Friday night program will feature a ‘Fab Four’ racing event; highlighted by all four of the facility’s weekly divisions including the ‘410’ sprint cars. Sodeman Jr. is a former winner at the Sarver 4/10’s mile oval, and has visited ‘Sheetz Victory Lane’ one (1) time already in 2013. Last Friday night’s appearance at the Lernerville Speedway during ‘Fab Four’ competition resulted in a third (3rd) finish during the 25-lap, ‘410’ sprint car main event. Current point leader, Brandon Spithaler, was the main event winner.
Jack Sodeman Jr. and Rudzik Racing will cap-off their upcoming weekend with an appearance at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsyvlania on Saturday evening, June 8th. The ‘Saturday Night Live!’ weekly program will be headlined by the ever-popular ‘410’ sprint cars. Jack Sodeman Jr. finished second (2nd) in the Rudzik Racing ‘94’ last Saturday evening at the Mercer 3/8’s mile oval during the 25-lap, ‘410’ sprint car main event; following former Western Pennsyvlania regular and now full-time UNOH All Star, Danny Holtgraver, under the checkers. Sodeman Jr. is a former Mercer Raceway Park winner, but has yet to find victory lane at the facility in 2013.
Sodeman Jr. will enter the upcoming weekend as a fierce track championship contender at both the Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park. The former Sharon Speedway ‘410’ sprint car track champion finds himself second (2nd) in the current Lernerville Speedway ‘410’ sprint car driver standings; trailing current point leader and recent winner, Brandon Spithaler, by four (4) markers. The pilot of the Rudzik Racing no. 94 will enter Saturday evening’s ‘Saturday Night Live!’ program at Mercer Raceway Park third (3rd) in the current ‘410’ sprint car driver standings; just twenty (20) points shy of the top spot. Rimersburg, Pennsylvania native, Scott Priester, is the current ‘MRP’ point leader.
