PENNDEL, Pa. (January 12, 2020) – Deptford, New Jersey-native Lauren Fischer, a full-time marketing representative for Brett Michalski Motorsports, as well as JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning, will take her passion for grassroots racing to pageantry in the coming week, as the 29-year-old will take to the stage during the annual Ms. Motorsports Pageant in hopes of representing the Northeast as Ms. Motorsports in 2020.
Fischer, who finished on the podium twice during the annual Ms. Motorsports competition, hails from a dedicated racing lineage, as her mother and father each work at Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport, New Jersey, while her cousin, Billy Gray, competes in the micro sprint ranks at tracks in Delaware and New Jersey. In addition, Fischer was a frequent visitor to Bridgeport while growing up, also making time for drag racing before transitioning to dirt full-time nearly ten years ago.
“I’ve kinda stepped out of retirement for this,” Lauren Fischer laughed when discussing the Ms. Motorsports Pageant. “I’m excited for this year. I’ve been around racing my entire life and it’s a huge part of who I am, so why not use my passion and knowledge to be a part of the sport in a different way. To be Ms. Motorsports in 2020 would be a huge honor and I will do my best to represent the sport at the best of my ability. I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of this event in the past, but came up short of my ultimate goal. I have a lot more experience on my side now, so I think this is the year for me.”

The 2020 Ms. Motorsports Pageant will take place during the annual Motorsports Race Car and Trade Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania, on Friday through Sunday, January 17-19.
