South Park, PA (May 19th, 2014) – A trio of super late model events await Jared Miley during the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. Miley, who pilots the Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Octane Graphix, FullyInjected.com, no. H1 super late model, will make appearances at three (3) different racing facilities in two (2) different states over the course of Memorial Day weekend; beginning with a trip to the Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania on Friday night, May 23rd. Jared Miley has never seen two out of the three venues he plans to visit between May 23rd and 25th, but hopes to make a memorable first impression to fans all across Pennsylvania and New York upon arrival.
Jared Miley will kick-off the busy Memorial Day weekend by joining the Three State Flyers Super Late Model Series at the Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania on Friday night, May 23rd. The ‘Johnny Grum Tribute’ event will award $4,000 to the main event winner. This will be Jared Miley’s first-ever visit to the Bedford Speedway half-mile. The Friday night program will feature drivers and teams from all across the Mid-Atlantic region; making it a must-see super late model spectacle. Action is set to begin at 7:30PM, sharp. Miley’s Memorial Day weekend tour will continue on Saturday evening, May 24th at the NDRL’s McKean County Raceway near East Smethport, Pennsylvania. The National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) Northeast Late Model Series sanctioned event will award $3,000 to the feature winner. Miley, who owns one super late model feature victory thus far in 2014, last competed with the NDRL Northeast Late Model Series back on Sunday, April 6th at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The former Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway and Lernerville Speedway track championship finished ninth (9th) in that event.
Action will resume for Jared Miley Racing on Sunday evening, May 25th at the Little Valley Speedway in Little Valley, New York. The NDRL Northeast Late Model Series will also be on hand for the Sunday night program. The Memorial Day Special will award $3,000; making Miley’s entire weekend schedule a $10,000 possibility. Similar to Bedford Speedway, the trip to Little Valley, New York will be a career-first for the South Park, Pennsylvania native.
