Blackjack concludes massive Kings Royal effort with top-five; Knoxville return ahead
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (July 21, 2025) – Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing did their best to conquer The Big E on Saturday, July 19, and although they were denied the crown, their effort was near the top, concluding the $200,000-to-win Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, with a fourth-place outcome – their third top-ten of the week in four main events contested.
Brown, ace of his own Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, Ditzfeld Transfer, Ditzfeld Container Service, No. 21 sprint car, started third on Saturday’s finale grid, setting the tone with a heat race victory over Corey Day, Carson Macedo, and Logan Schuchart.
As noted, the Kings Royal top-five was Brown’s third top-ten of the week, opening competition at The World’s Greatest Dirt Track with a ninth-place result in Wednesday’s Double Down Duel$, followed by an eight-place result in Thursday’s $100,000-to-win Jokers Jackspot – from 16th on the A-Main grid. Each of the aforementioned events were sanctioned by High Limit Racing.
“Overall, just a solid week for our Casey’s | FVP team at Eldora Speedway,” Brown noted. “Rolled out of the box strong with ninth and eighth place finishes on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, and after finishing 15th on Friday we started fourth in the Kings Royal on Saturday, winning our heat race to set us up. We were strong at the start and actually pressured Anthony Macri for the lead and took the lead at one point. We ran probably not the most preferred line but kinda kept with him there before settling in. Rode in second there for a while before Rico [Abreu] was able to sneak by us. We were actually able to run those guys down before the caution/open red. On the restart, just got a horrible start and didn’t get going right away. Had to work my butt off to get back to fourth. When we got back to fourth, we could still see those guys ahead of us. The cars around us and in front of us are the fastest cars in the country, so it’s a great time to be fast.
“There’s a lot of confidence with our team right now and I like where we’re at,” Brown added. “Looking forward to a trip to Knoxville Raceway this weekend. Working to add some more notes in the book. It’s been a solid couple of weeks…Chad, JB, and Devin have been working hard. We’re looking forward to another solid weekend and month ahead.”
