Bova Continues to Build Toward 2016
Hopes to Outdo 2015 Season

Struthers, Ohio (December 8, 2015) – With the off-season in full swing, Bova Racing is also in full swing; tearing down and rebuilding with the intent to defend success generated from 2015. Cody Bova, pilot of the Bova Racing, J.S. Bova Excavating, AIMI Product Imagining, LLC., Richardson Tree Service, No. 20B, 305 sprint car, rolled into the off-season on a near perfect note. The Struthers, Ohio, native captured six main event victories during his recent campaign, as well as a career first track championship at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Bova’s sixth and final victory occurred during his last start of the season; the final night of Mercer Raceway Park’s point championship.
“We’re all really anxious for next season…this winter is going to drag.” Bova explained, “We just got one of our motors back and we had our car powder coated. Gressman does great work with our motor program and we couldn’t be happier. We have all of our major components back, so we’ll start putting everything back together right after the PRI show in Indy. We’ll do our best to prepare for next year. We have plenty of momentum on our side, so we need to put that to good use.”
Despite the rebuilding process acting as a major priority for Bova Racing, connecting with new and returning sponsors is also a major highlight on the off-season agenda. With the amount of success earned during the 2015 season, Bova is confident that his race team will repeat that level of success in 2016, ultimately attracting new marketing partners and product support.
“We have a lot of momentum on our side this off-season and that feels really good” Bova said, “2015 was by far my most productive season. We accomplished a lot; winning six races and a track championship, so that is really something to be proud of. A season like that wouldn’t be possible without help. I have a lot of great people and supporters behind me. Our plan is continue that success in 2016 and once again give our supporters something in return.”
“The sponsor help that we have right now is tremendous.” said Bova, “We have a lot of plans and a lot of goals that we are going to try to accomplish. That will all depend on the relationships we build this off-season.”
Plans for the upcoming season will be released in the coming weeks. Preliminary scheduling ideas include joining the 305 sprint car ranks in northwestern Ohio for Fremont/Attica Sprint Title “305” Championship Series competition.
