Bradley Howard Will Spend “Off Weekend” Back in the Driver’s Seat;
Kevin Gobrecht Classic On Deck at Susquehanna
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
ETTERS, Pa. (May 4, 2016) – Despite a gap in the 2016 Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions campaign, not resuming competition until Friday evening, May 13, series rookie contender Bradley Howard will not stray away from the racing scene, but instead, enter the Kevin Gobrecht Classic at Susquehanna Speedway near York Haven. The $4,000-to-win marquee, all set for Sunday evening, May 8, will act as a perfect opportunity for Howard to test and tune equipment, as well as work for ways to improve on and off the racing surface.
“Living in Central Pennsylvania has a lot of advantages, especially in this scenario,” explained Bradley Howard. “Even with our All Star schedule not active this weekend, we still have plenty of places to race close to home. We’ve been having a lot of fun this year, while still continuing to learn. Bottom line, we want to race as much as we can. That’s the only way we’ll get closer to the top. We’ll race close to home as much as our schedule allows.”
Other potential plans for the upcoming weekend include a visit to the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown on Saturday, May 7. Howard, pilot of the Rocket Drywall, DeRock Electric Company, Harcon Construction, J&W Ace Hardware, Stauffer Motorsports, Ciesco Inc., J&J Auto Racing, Rock-It Pizza & Subs, No. 49H, will visit the Pigeon Hills facility later in the year with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions, so an early season stop will only be beneficial.
“We aren’t too sure about our Saturday plans just yet, but it’s definitely a possibility,” said Howard about Lincoln Speedway. “It never hurts to get some laps anywhere you can. We’ll probably make a last minute decision later in the week.”
“I just want to take the time to thank all of those who make my season possible. I have a long list of people who support my team and I. It feels great to have that many supporters on our side. We are all very excited to find out what the future has in store.”
