Evans City, PA (July 19th, 2013) – Brandon Spithaler will return to Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) non-wing sprint car competition this Saturday evening, July 20th with an appearance at the Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio; taking part in the 2013 ‘Dick Spencer Memorial.’ Spithaler, who competes full-time with the B.O.S.S. non-wing sprint car stars in 2013, will roll into Waynesfield Raceway Park this Saturday night with intentions to not only earn his second (2nd) B.O.S.S. victory of the 2013 season, but also, take over the series point lead. After six (6) completed events on the 2013 B.O.S.S. racing schedule, the Evans City, Pennsylvania native finds himself second (2nd) in the current championship standings; trailing recent series winner and current point leader, Tony Beaber, by twenty-one (21) markers. Spithaler’s lone B.O.S.S. victory of the 2013 season took place at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania; earning the victory over Ohio ‘hotshoe’ and rising star, Sheldon Haudenschild, back on May 25th.

Spithaler, who pilots the Tom Burkey owned, Superior Tank and Trailer sponsored, no. 57B non-wing sprint car during B.O.S.S. competition, finished second (2nd) during his most recent B.O.S.S. start; which took shape at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania back on Friday evening, July 5th. Jack Sodeman Jr. was the Lernerville Speedway B.O.S.S. winner.

When not traveling with the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series, Brandon Spithaler competes weekly in Western Pennsylvania with the local ‘410’ sprint car ranks. The Western Pennsylvania native owns a pair of sprint car victories outside of B.O.S.S. action in 2013; earning wins at the Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park during weekly sprint car events.

Once Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series action is completed at the Waynesfield Raceway Park on July 20th, the B.O.S.S. schedule will have six (6) events remaining on their 2013 series schedule. The non-wing travelers will visit tracks and venues such as Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Sharon Speedway, Wayne County Speedway, Lawrenceburg Speedway, Fremont Speedway, and the Eldora Speedway during their last six (6) scheduled stops.
